Suvaidya is a brand of PKMM Health Care, carrying a tradition of Ayurveda that began in 1923.
A small clinic was established at Edarikkode by Poozhikkal Kunjahammed Musliyar, a physician and social worker who also started four primary schools. The work passed to his sons, Dr. Poozhikkal Ibrahim Haji and Dr. Poozhikkal Hussain.
Dr. Sirajudheen Poozhikkal later brought the inpatient facilities together as Dr. P. Hussain’s PKMM Ayurveda Hospital in Malappuram, continuing that family legacy of care.
